What it is

Doctrine and Covenants Section 89, known as the Word of Wisdom, is a foundational LDS scripture about temporal stewardship. Modern LDS investing applies it to portfolio construction.

What gets excluded

Alcohol producers and distributors, tobacco companies, coffee and tea producers (including Starbucks, which complicates retail and food-service exposure), cannabis companies, gambling and casino operators, pornography distributors, and producers of R-rated entertainment content.
